OUR TRAINING AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS

At The Endovascular Clinic, we believe that transforming healthcare begins with empowering those who deliver it. That’s why we invest heavily in the education, upskilling, and mentorship of healthcare professionals through our dedicated OYESIS Training Program and global partnerships.

Our outreach initiatives go beyond patient care — they focus on building a stronger, more capable medical workforce equipped to respond to Nigeria’s most pressing clinical challenges.

Highlights of Our Training & Outreach Efforts
OYESIS Clinical Training Programs

In February 2017, we launched an intensive 6-day training workshop in Yenagoa in collaboration with the Bayelsa State Government. This program introduced core certifications such as:

  1. Basic Life Support (BLS)
  2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  3. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

These trainings are designed to enhance the confidence and capabilities of doctors, nurses, and technologists in managing urgent and emergent cases, including stroke, trauma, and cardiac arrest.

Tele-Education & Weekly Rounds
Through our telemedicine platform, we conduct:

  1. Weekly virtual ward rounds
  2. Monthly grand rounds
  3. Remote CME sessions and mentorships

This digital outreach ensures continued medical education (CME) and global collaboration, even in underserved or rural regions.

Global Collaboration
Our team is supported by physicians and specialists across the U.S. and Nigeria. We partner with globally recognized organizations such as:

  1. International Society of Endovascular Specialists (ISEVS)
  2. Edward B. Diethrich Vascular Surgical Society
  3. Oye Medical Foundation (USA)
  4. West Virginia Vascular Institute

These affiliations enable continuous knowledge transfer, hands-on mentorship, and access to global best practices.

Focus on Long-Term Impact
We’re not just delivering care — we’re creating a system for sustainable, high-quality healthcare. Through training and outreach, we are:

  1. Rebranding indigenous professionals with globally aligned standards
  2. Creating a pipeline for future vascular leaders
  3. Promoting the use of modern tools in Nigerian hospitals
